We’re off to the Ski & Snowboard Show at Earls Court in London this morning.  Are you coming to join us?… 

Here are just 10 reasons why you should bring your family to the show this half term.  It is open daily for five days from today until Sunday. 

1 There are free taster ski and snowboard lessons for beginners on the Skills Slope with the Warren Smith Ski Academy, or – if you’re intermediate, advanced or even an expert skier or boarder, you can come and learn some tips from the experts here too.

2 There are over 250 stands (including 60 of the world’s top resorts) and many will have amazing offers and discounts.

3 Come and skate for free at the indoor ice-skating rink and curling competitions to take part in

4 One lift pass is being given away per adult ticket booked online for the show.  

5 You can watch live ice-sculpting.

6 You can hug a St Bernard dog.

7 Come and meet Pingu and some live penguins.

8 Watch the riders’ jumps,  tricks and rail demos on the main slope, and try out your own tricks on the have-a-go airbag.

9 Watch some dare-devil ski footage on the giant action screen or in the Salomon Adventure Film Zone.

10 Come and meet Father Christmas (yes, we know it’s only October but Christmas festivities have to start sometime soon, and where better than at the Ski Show!)
