It might be Friday 13th but in anyone in the Alps today is far from unlucky!

Winter has returned to much of the Alps, with a massive dump of snow in Switzerland, Austria, Italy and, in particular, in France.  Yet more is forecast for over the weekend too, even though many of the lower resorts are closing.  Temperatures are cool, so the snow is staying in better condition throughout the day than it has in the past few weeks.
