International Youth Camp in Schladming 2013
The climax of next year’s FIS Alpine World Ski Championships is to take place in Schladming in Austria from 4-17 February 2013.
And now the Organising Committee has announced that there will also be an International Youth Camp in Schladming at the same time.
The purpose of the camp is to bring young people together from around the globe to encourage their enthusiasm for snow sports and, in particular, skiing.
The camp will comprise 100 participants from the various FIS member National Ski Associations. The programme will include skiing; visits to the World Championship competitions; and a chance to exchange cultural and sporting views with youths from other nations, and to learn more about Schladming and the Austrian region of Styria.
