Prince Harry reaches South Pole
Prince Harry and his fellow adventurers in the Walking with the Wounded expedition have arrived at the South Pole – on Friday the 13th December!
The group reached the Pole at 12:00 GMT after over three weeks of pulling sleds.
Twelve injured servicemen and women from the UK, the US and the Commonwealth were on the 200-mile walk. We reported on the launch of the remarkable expedition in an earlier story here.
Prince Harry paid tribute to all those who helped in the trek and deemed it a “mission success”.
