Val Thorens voted world’s best ski resort
Val Thorens won the prize for ‘best overall ski resort in the world’ this weekend at the inaugural World Ski Awards, which took place in Kitzbühel.
The French resort has already won the award for the ‘Most Improved European Resort’ in London’s World Snow Awards, which we covered in an earlier story, which you can read by clicking HERE.
The winners of the World Ski Awards were selected by ski industry professionals and the general public.
The main categories were ‘Best Ski Resort’ in each country; ‘Best Ski Hotel’; ‘Best Ski Chalet’ and ‘Best Ski Boutique Hotel’ in each country.
