Win your class “a day in the Alps”
There’s no need to go to the Alps for a taste of mountain life and snowsports this winter…
The Snow Centre is offering school children the chance to win their class the day of a lifetime – sampling the alpine way of life, whilst learning to ski or snowboard – right here in Hemel Hempstead, less than an hour’s drive from central London.
Here’s how your children can win their class a day out at the ski slopes:
Thirty slots are up for grabs in this unique competition, which includes a one-hour ski lesson and a one-hour snowboard lesson followed by a 30 minute sledging session. So kids, why not enter and win the outing for your class?
All equipment is provided so all you need to bring is warm clothing, thick gloves and your best mates!
Not only will all your class learn key skills in both skiing and snowboarding, you will each experience an action-packed and fun-filled festive day out, and that’s a promise!
What’s more, in between all the action on the slope, you will all be treated to extensive refreshments in the slope-side Schuss Bar and a hearty lunch in the new Lodge Bar and Kitchen alpine restaurant overlooking the slopes.
It’s the perfect chance to get a taste of mountain sports while whizzing, spinning and sliding down The Snow Centre’s real snow slopes on skis and snowboards, then racing your mates to the finish on rubber ringos and sledges!
This day out normally costs £49 per pupil (available to book by phone on 01442 817 499). but you can win it all your mates for FREE.

To enter this fantastic competition, simply email your contact details (name, telephone number and your school name) to competition@thesnowcentre.com plus a description of no more than 14 words why The Snow Centre should award your class a special “Day in the Alps”.
