Crystal wins Best Ski Company award
Crystal Ski, the UK’s leading ski holiday tour operator, has once again won’ Best Overall Ski & Wintersports Operator’ at the prestigious 2013 British Travel Awards.
Crystal has previously won the award in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011. This year they beat finalists Neilson Holidays, VIP Ski and Ski Amis.
The announcement was made last night at a glamorous Halloween Night Gala Awards Dinner, held at Battersea Evolution in London and attended by nearly one thousand travel industry people.
Other ski companies to scoop an award last night included Mark Warner for ‘Best Medium Holiday Company Ski & Winter Sports’ and Ski Olympic for ‘Best Small Holiday Company Ski & Winter Sports’
British Travel Awards’ chief executive Lorraine Barnes Burton said: “This year more than one million votes were cast by consumers to determine the winners of the coveted British Travel Awards – making it the largest awards programme in the UK; to win is truly an accolade. The travelling public regard the British Travel Awards winners logo as the benchmark for excellence when it comes to finding out who really are the best travel companies and (insert name of winning company) is to be congratulated on their achievement in an awards programme which garners the opinions of the nation – these finalists and winners really are the best in travel.”
Ian Davis, product and distribution director at Crystal Ski, accepted the trophy. “We are delighted to have received this award for the fifth time and I would like to thank everybody who voted for us.”
