Ski on Father’s Day
Thanks to a winter of monumental snowfall, the Canadian resort of Mount Washington in British Columbia is opening this weekend – especially for Father’s Day – for a remarkable third year in a row.
Only one lift (the Whiskey Jack Chairlift) will be open from10am-4pmon Saturday and Sunday, but there will be plenty of skiing on Linton’s Loop, and possibly some other runs as well, together with a handful of ramps and rails in a small terrain park.
Tickets will cost $25 per person, with rental skis and boards a futher $25. Pre-purchase online at mountwashington.ca, to get a 10% discount.
To add to the Fathers’ Day festivities, there will be prizes throughout the weekend for the best outfits and all skiers/boarders will receive a two-for-one Mile High Chairlift Ride voucher.
So why not surprise your father with a great day out, and come to Mount Washington for some sunny summer turns?…
