Yet more snow…

Wrapped up warmly in Bad Gastein

Wrap up warmly if you’re skiing today.  It’s a blue-sky day in Bad Gastein in Austria today, according to our FamilySkiNews.com reporters, but it’s perishingly cold and quite windy too.

But the big news is that there has been heavy snowfall in the Pyrenees and the Southern Alps in the past 48 hours. The snow in southern Europe is now moving northwards – the French resorts of Les Deux Alpes, Montgenèvre and Les Houches had 20cm overnight, as did Villars-Gryon, Gstaad and Zinal in Switzerland.

Conditions are cold but perfect and there as still some great offers available for half-term if you’re quick.  Here’s a clip of some of the BASS instructors enjoying the powder at Portes du Soleil at the weekend to inspire you.
