The drinks are on Thomson Ski!

Teresa Fisher

Cheers!….This season the drinks are on Thomson Ski!

One of Britain’s most popular ski companies (as we revealed in an earlier report last month), and a partner of FamilySkiNews.com, Thomson Ski has just launched its new winter 2013/14 programme with 63 new properties and 13 new flights routes, plus up to €100 hotel credit in selected hotels to spend in the hotel bar or restaurant.

There are also some excellent reduced price packages for first-time skiers/snowboarders, as well as some new destinations to consider – notably Norway in Scandinavia, with three of its most popular resorts Geilo, Hemsedal and Beitostolen.

Norway is excellent for first-time and intermediate skiers and snowboarders.  Geilo and Hemsedal offer some great runs for the more advanced skier.  Our Content Editor, Teresa Fisher, was especially taken with Beitostolen as a family destination, when she visited this April.  You can read her report here.  Throughout Norway, you can expect quiet slopes, friendly people, great food and a host of other après-ski activities from husky-dog sledding to romantic dinners in a teepee.

For your convenience, Thomson is also adding 13 new flight routes from regional airports to the European ski slopes. Those new routes include departures from East Midlands, Liverpool, Southend, Southampton, Glasgow and even the Isle of Man to Geneva, amongst others to make the journey to the ski resorts more convenient.

More regional departures this season to reduce travel time

Prices start from £335 per person (based on four sharing) for 7 nights’ self catering accommodation at the Sunotel Apartments in Les Carroz/Flaine, France, including return flights from Gatwick and  transfers, departing on 22 March 2014.

To find out more or to make a reservation, check out the Thomson Ski website.
